This outdoor bench is part of a series where construction materials are used in an aesthetic manner. Steel reinforcement meshes (that usually only have a structural purpose) are welded together to create a solid base for the concrete seating. The rough, rusty look of the steel bars contrasts with the smooth texture of the concrete. This results in a dynamic tension between both materials.
