The concept behind this design was to utilize the lost space that occurs in corners. The cabinet leans against both walls and seems to sink into the floor, creating a more gradual transition from horizontal to vertical. Referring to the ‘oblique’ theory of Claude Parent, in this series the archetypical forms of furniture are being reimagined in order to add more dynamics to static objects.
